Choose the team whose decision pattern you understand, not the one with the most S Tier labels. Balanced teams offer more defensive corrections. Offense rewards accurate speed tracking. Weather magnifies specific attacks but must preserve its setter. Trick Room reverses move order and demands careful turn counting.
Practice the recommended lead first, then learn one alternative for matchups that directly stop it. In Doubles you bring four of six, so each roster must produce several coherent groups rather than one fixed combination. First Steps Balance is the most approachable because its roles and defensive switches are clear.
A Mega can be valuable, but the chosen Mega must solve a team need. Do not weaken the other five slots just to include one.
